Today in my lunch break I was lucky enough to meet Molly and John at their lovely new home after they had downsized.

Molly told me that it had been a very good experience although they had been sad to move away from neighbours of 53 years.  It had been really good for them as they didn't have a 3 bed house to look after any more and importantly no more stairs.

A landlord is to pay £2,125 in fines and £1,815 costs to Reading Borough Council after admitting he failed to keep a property in East Reading in a fit state for tenants.

Mohammed Mir, 41, of Cumberland Road, Reading, pleaded guilty to 16 offences relating to a house he owns in Eastern Avenue, which he rented out to nine tenants.

flawed'.  The government has been refused leave to appeal by the judge.  What does this mean for the council, schools etc?  No idea!  But we may be able to go ahead with some schemes.

new reward and loyalty scheme gets the go-ahead from councillors.

Savings and rewards will be available in all Reading sport and leisure 
centres, libraries and arts and entertainment venues – including The

1 month in</title><summary type='text'>I haven't seen the Reading Chronicle yet but I gather I'm in twice this week, once for my solar panels, once for Whitley.

Cameron resorted to attacking doctors and the British Medical Association at Prime Minister's questions today.  But if they are so awful why hand over power to them (especially when they don't even want it!)?
